· The THS 67 reunion committee met Thursday June 7th, 6 PM at RFCC for the regular monthly meeting. The next meetings are also the first Thursday of the month in July (7/5) and August (8/2), 6 PM at RFCC. All classmates and guests are invited to attend.

· Attended by Paulette Adamcik Mike, Ron Mildner, Barb Bartholf Mildner, Dave Stabile, Yvonne Bertolet Bentz, Jim Brucker, Mary Ann Parker Haas, Barb Corsi Tomer, and Gary Shaeffers.

· A Flyer has been produced and will be emailed to all class mates with the hope that the flyers will be posted in the best spots to gain attention of THS alumni. Herm to add the THS Redcat as a logo. The weekend events are open to THS classes from 1965 thru 1969. Yvonne is working with Ron Misejka to add our announcement to his THS blog. Ron has been a big help with this and with contacting other classes.

· T-shirts and Sweatshirts. The committee has recommended that Wally produce or arrange production for 10 large, 20 X-large, and 5 XX-large t-shirts and sweatshirts to sell during the weekend.

· Decorations Committee. Diana Waugaman Galla and Wally Sommer will meet at RFCC on Saturday morning 8/11 at 11 am to decorate. More help is needed! Please contact Wally or Diana. Remember to put your name on any memorabilia that you bring to display.

· Welcome table will be manned by Ron Mildner, Dave Stabile, and Mary Ann Parker Haas. They will collect payment for anyone paying at the door, hand out the 67 oldies CD, and hand out name tags. The name tags are from the last reunion and may need updated. Yvonne Bertolet Bentz has offered to help.

· Ticket sellers for the Chinese Auction and 50/50 raffle will be Paulette Adamcik Mike, Barb Bartholf Mildner and Yvonne Bertolet Bentz.

· Menu Committee. Yvonne, Barb Mildner and Barb Corsi Tomer. Working on the final menu items for all three days. Here’s the schedule:

· Friday August 10^th. Informal meeting at the Rathskellar in Tarentum. Private party from 7 to 10 pm. We will order pizza in, and possibly a few other “bar food” items like wings. Open to the public after 10. Talk to Fred Geisler or Barb Corsi Tomer with ideas.

· Saturday, August 11^th. Optional Golf Outing – Noon tee times at RFCC. Contact hermtomer@tomerdevelopment.com to sign up. (Looks like we have about 12 players so far). The evening event starts at 7:00 PM at RFCC – directions available at www.golfriverforest.com. The plan is for a FUN, INFORMAL evening with stations for food instead of a formal sit-down dinner. Cash bar. Oldies music - no DJ or band. No ties allowed. The objective is to have people mingle and talk. The DRAFT menu is a "heavy hors d'oeuvres” station, a pasta station, and a dessert & coffee station. Classmates are asked to bring cookies for dessert. Paulette has made a 1967 music CD that will be given as favors for those who attend. Yvonne Bertolet Bentz has a video for 1967 that we will run during the event. Paulette has reserved a block of 10 rooms at both the Marriott Hotel at the Mills Mall and at the Clarion Hotel across the Tarentum Bridge for those out of town guests. THS decorations, old photos, yearbooks, jackets, etc. – bring some memories with you.

· Sunday, August 12^th. Picnic at the Vineyard by Mellon starting at noon. Committee will supply 1/4 kegs of regular and light beers in a tub with ice; hot dogs & hamburgers, buns, condiments, paper plates & cups & napkins and plastic utensils. Classmates are asked to bring a covered dish, folding chairs, and their own “beverage of choice” if they want something other than the keg beer and Mellon’s wine. Directions are available at www.thevineyardbymellon.com. Len Valenti is head of the picnic committee (Barb & Ron Mildner, Jim Brucker, Frank Mellon). The Committee will bring grills, charcoal and lighter, ice, and handle the setup and cleanup. Herm has 8’ long folding tables if needed. Committee to decide if a port-a-john is needed. More volunteers welcome.

· Notes & Miscellaneous.

· Although we continue to make additions and corrections, the DRAFT address sheet is NOT up to date and many corrections are needed ASAP. Please send corrections and additions to RFCC.office@golfriverforest.com. ALL CLASSMATES ALSO ARE ASKED TO PROVIDE CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON “MISSING CLASSMATES” NOT ON THE LIST (see below).

· The invitation letter was sent to all classmates with an address on record. Checks for $35 a person should be made out to “THS Class of 1967” and sent to Fred Geisler at PO Box 142, Monroeville, PA 15146. Responses are requested no later than June 30^th. Letter also included an order form for anyone who wants THS t-shirts or sweat shirts.

· There will be several prize baskets for a “Chinese Auction” fund-raiser, with money going to help the next class reunion. More donations are requested. Tentative list:

· Several teachers have been invited. (Warriner, Gill, Timashenka, Carlson, Sweeney, Eastadt-both) Contact and invite more if you know where they are!

· It is suggested that all classmates join a free internet service at www.classmates.com. The web site provides contact information and updates on classmates, reunions, and others.

· The reunion will be open to other THS classes from 1965 thru 1969.

· Please provide your input, corrections, and suggestions to any of the committee members. We hope to have a great turnout, and to see you in August.
